REPORT

➢Semi- Christmas was celebrated on 6th Dec, 2014 in our school premises. The chief guest Rev Fr. Johnson (Parish Priest and Correspondent of St. Antony’s Primary School) The special guest Mr.Thirunavukkarasu(DMK Secretary-Puzhal) The Guest of Honour Mr. Antony(23rd ward councilor- Chennai Corporation) and the parents, well wishers were invited to grace this occasion.

➢The programme started with introduction about Christmas followed by prayer, Bible reading and Carol. The pearls of our school were awarded for their meritorious record in curricular and co-curricular activities and also in sports and games.

➢The stars of our school dandled on the stage, gave great feast to the eyes and joy to the heart of audience through their cultural events. The marvelous and heart touching performance by the students who enacted the Christmas play in English. The Reflection of the story was, “Sharing of life is a mission which gives everlasting joy and happiness. Sharing of life with the poor and needy is the real meaning of Christmas.”

➢Spiritual, motivational and inspiring speech of the guests taught us valuable ideas and suggestions. The highlights of the message are, Rev.

Fr.Johnson:

• Christmas is not only a time of Celebration. It is a part of dedication

• It is not how much we do, but how much love we put, in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in giving.

• Love is a fruit in season of all times and within the reach of every hand. Mr. Thirunavukkarasu:

• If there is no struggle, there is no progress, what you think who you become.

• The difference between a successful person and others is not lack of knowledge but lack of will. • If you want happiness for a lifetime, learn to love what you do.

➢Finally the programme was winded by the dance by Santa Claus.

➢The enormous support of our Principal, the efforts of teachers, the genuine interest of the parents and enthusiastic encouragement of the audience made the function a great success. HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
